Add Accreditations to Your Profile

Accreditations help donors understand how your organization meets recognized standards or participates in sector frameworks.

This article explains how accreditations appear on your Charity Profile and how donors use them during review.

What Accreditations Are

Accreditations are third-party standards, memberships, or recognitions that provide additional context about your organization.

They may relate to:

  • Governance or accountability

  • Sector standards or best practices

  • Program quality or operations

Accreditations are optional and are meant to add context, not determine eligibility.

How Accreditations Are Used

Donors may look at accreditations to:

  • Understand how your organization operates

  • Gain confidence during due diligence

  • Compare organizations using consistent reference points

Accreditations complement other information on your profile.
