Post-Activation Emails for DAFs

These ready-to-send email templates are designed for Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) administrators to support fund holders after they have created and activated their WellFunded account.

What These Emails Are For

The Post-Activation email series helps you:

  • Reinforce the value of WellFunded after a fund holder has created their account

  • Guide fund holders toward meaningful first actions on the platform

  • Build confidence using tools like search, CharityLists, and WellCheck

  • Encourage continued engagement as part of their ongoing giving process

These emails are sent after a fund holder has activated their account.

Important: Required Replacements Before Sending

Before sending any email, replace the following placeholders:

  • [Fund Holder First Name]: Merge tag from your database

  • [DAF Name]: Your organization’s name

  • [Insert Landing Page URL]: Your co-branded WellFunded landing page

  • [Your Name] and [Your Title]: Sending administrator’s details

All placeholders are clearly marked within the templates.

Send 5 to 7 days after account creation to all activated fund holders.

Type in a charity name you've given to before and see what data is available.
You'll be surprised by how much intelligence is at your fingertips.
If a Canadian charity you care about is missing impact data, let WellFunded know — they work to get profiles completed.

2. Run a WellCheck on a charity you're considering
Click "Generate WellCheck" to get an AI-powered due diligence report.
This is the same level of analysis that would normally take 2-3 weeks and cost $3,000-5,000 — now available to you in minutes.

3. Launch a giving opportunity
Have a cause you care about but aren't sure which charity to support?
