Hide or Remove a Project

As your work evolves, some projects may no longer need to be visible to donors. WellFunded allows you to hide or remove projects so your profile reflects your current priorities.

This article explains when to hide or remove a project and what happens when you do.

When to Hide or Remove a Project

You may want to hide or remove a project if:

  • The initiative has been fully funded or completed

  • The project is no longer a current priority

  • Details such as timing or scope are no longer accurate

  • You want to focus donor attention on other active projects

Keeping only relevant projects visible helps donors understand where support is most needed.

Hiding a Project

Hiding a project removes it from donor-facing views while keeping the information saved internally.

Hiding a project may be helpful if:

  • The project may return in the future

  • You want to pause visibility temporarily

  • You are revising details before sharing it again

Hidden projects are not visible to donors during search or review.

Removing a Project

Removing a project deletes it from your profile entirely.

You may choose to remove a project if:

  • It is no longer relevant

  • It will not be reused or revisited

  • The information is outdated and not needed for reference

Once removed, a project cannot be restored.

What Donors See

When a project is hidden or removed:

  • Donors will no longer see it on your profile

  • It will not appear in search results or discovery

  • It will not be considered for matching or giving opportunities

Your Charity Profile and other active projects remain visible.
