WellFunded allows multiple people to access the same organization or account using individual logins. This article explains how account access works, how multiple users are typically supported, and what to know when collaborating with others on the platform.

Account access is designed to support collaboration while keeping control with your organization.

How Account Access Works

Access on WellFunded is associated with individual user accounts. Each user signs in with their own login and is connected to an organization or account based on their role.

Multiple users can be associated with the same charity, donor, or donor-advised fund. This allows teams to collaborate without sharing login credentials.

At this time, access is managed at the account or organization level rather than through granular permission settings.

Who Typically Has Access

Organizations often give access to people involved in research, coordination, or review.

For example:

  • Charities may add staff members, leadership, or advisors

  • Donors may include family members or trusted collaborators

  • Donor-advised funds may include advisors or internal team members

All users with access can view relevant information associated with the account. Actions available to each user depend on how the account is set up and how the platform is being used.

Managing Access

Access is typically managed by the primary contact or administrator for the organization.

If you need to:

  • Add a new user

  • Remove someone’s access

  • Update who should be associated with an account

What Access Does Not Do

Access on WellFunded does not:

  • Transfer funds

  • Process donations

  • Commit giving decisions

  • Change off-platform relationships or approvals

WellFunded supports discovery, review, and coordination, while all giving decisions and transactions happen outside the platform.
